The Perfect Finish

When buying new timber windows and doors from Traditional Timber Windows you can be assured of a beautiful, durable finish for many years to come.

Our windows and doors are finished to the highest of standards. We use only the very finest products available form industry leading manufacturers dedicated to the preservation and appearance of exterior joinery.

When it comes to the choice of finish we offer an almost limitless range of options suitable for any period of property. Should you have something in mind that you’re unable to identify amongst our wide range of standard colours we will do our upmost to offer a match.

The Process

After the timber has been machined to suit your chosen product all items are immersed in an anti-fungal solution and left to dry for 24hrs.

The items are then inspected to ensure an even coating and full penetration after which they receive the base coat.

Prior to final finish they are once again inspected to ensure there’s no defects in either timber or base coat and only then are they approved for the final coat.

Once cured, the finished products are then carefully scrutinised to ensure your new windows and doors meet our exceedingly high standards. Only then are they deemed fit for release and ready for the next stage.

Not entirely sure of what colour to choose; why not take inspiration from Farrow & Ball, interior design magazines and blogs. Gather pictures of houses, rooms and ideas that you love so you have a clear idea of how your new windows and doors will integrate and add to the overall feel and ambiance.
